Cardiff law Courts

My new pictures have dried up, so here's one I took last year.
All the main civic buildings are built in English Renaissance style carved from Portland stone. The quality of the architecture at Cathays Park means that it is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of civic centre in Europe.

  1. Nice photo and building - but a little intimidating ! Is it still used as a court ? Must be a lot of crime in Cardiff - or does it hear cases from all over the county ?

  2. What an impressive building. The architecture is quite beautiful! And what a beautiful day it was when you took that photo.

  3. I think this building would make any criminal think twice. I wish we had old buildings such as these...so much history imbedded in those walls!

  4. The statuary on each end could keep me looking for a while but so too would the building in all its pretty form.
