These were taken from a friends house looking through the patio doors onto her garden.
To the left of the top picture she has a pyrocanthus hedge and we were able to watch the sparrows busy nest building.
The sparrows feeding on the corn throw lots onto the floor, so the doves wait for the fallout.
I wish I had nice and clean doves like this one instead of the dirty, diseased pigeons that relieve themselves on my windowsills day in, day out...
